Too be honest I thought they were just going to repackage the SDCC 2014 batmobile into it....they look identical

Really? I must not have seen the same SDCC2014 batmobile because the one I saw was very plasticky and way less detailed than the replica pictured in the AK CE batmobile edition. SDCC one here...

I don't personally think they're even close because CE edition replica pictured looked to be a much more detailed rendition of higher end construction. Could be wrong but who will ever know now right?

Some good news, Amazon shipped my LE a couple of hours ago, it's due to be delivered tomorrow.
(Heh, although I am worried what it'll be like, in any unboxings I've watched, the statue looks a tad cheap tbh.)

I got mine today and I've just opened the Amazon box... Outer box of the LE looks smart....

Ah, are you keeping it sealed?
I've never been one for sealed collecting (except with action figures in their lovely little transparent preservation cells), everything else is opened as soon as I get my paws on it and put on display somewhere, although I might literally have ran out of space now; I'd post pictures to show it but it's the same reason I haven't done a proper intro thread, I'd love to but the thought of pictures of all my stuff easily available online makes me feel extremely uneasy.

No I'm opening it just thought I'd stop there in case I spoiled your fun tomorrow...

Used to keep tonnes of stuff sealed and immaculate but realised opening it and enjoying it is most of the fun!!!

I'm probably the odd one out, I liked the limited edition statue, but I hated that they didn't drop the price to reflect the new 52 content that was included being made free.

So got my CE today and for some reason the disk is in the steelbook where as the videos I saw on YouTube all came with it in the plastic box and the steel separate. I hate it when they do this!

Hmm that's odd. Mine came in the blue plastic case up top. I got mine from amazon.com though.
