I would say it's unlikely that we will see a Crystal Ed as not many were made, however it's not impossible. To name a few; Infamous 2 Hero Ed, Uncharted Explorer Ed, Mortal Kombat, God of War 3, all had editions with stock that were either held, returned or production increased after they apparently sold out.

I actually picked up my GoW pandora's box after a restock, so it does happen. I've also seen many collector editions that had apparently sold out, being sold in a local Game store near me, so it's not impossible just unlikely.

Letrico..how sure are you of that?...is that your theory?..or did you read that or hear that from a reputable source?..just would like to know how you came about a definitive answer of no..since i was holding out for a duplicate copy for PS3 anticipating a re-stock.

Hmm best bet now is on Ebay.. hoping scalpers will drop their price.. Other than that, returned copy on GAME UK... Unless Square announce they reprint some..

Let's say Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition. It was sold out everywhere before release date and now a lot's of shops sell it... interesting...

But that's because the company for CoD always done that imo I haven't ever seen any of their item actually limited in numbers :\[at least their CE]

Since both of are different company, I'm not sure that they were too many instances where SE reprinted CE/LE. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong though :\

Yeah, I would have to agree with Lightning. Activision is a bad example and they've been very consistent with mass producing so-called Limited Editions for their most popular franchise.

I have heard of folklore where publishers hold back a certain number of CE/LE and then somehow find themselves back on the market though for a discounted price?!?
