I got my Reaper of Souls CE today and I have to say I am rather impressed with it. In usual Blizzard style, it oozes quality all over. The box is very well built and very stylish. I'm disappointed that there was not some sort of statue included as with the Diablo 3 CE and instead a mouse pad was included. Although I couldn't resist passing up on this CE considering I already own the D3 CE.

I have only opened the game case for the CD key and everything else will remain sealed for years to come.

I've seen that in many unboxing videos is pointed out that Blizzard needs to change the style of its CE mainly because its been used since starcraft 2 I think.

I wish the expansion packs actually do include some cool looking USB dongly. SC2 WoL had dogtag USB, HoS have nothing. D3 had soulstone USB, RoS have nothing.

It would be nice if they include some cool stuff instead of a mousepad that I will never use lol. But I have nothing to complain about the quality of the box. Real sturdy and looks great too.

Never understood why Blizzard never came up with bigger CEs with Statues. They have one of the biggest fan-base in gaming. They could have really done will with 9-10 inch statues of Diablo and now Malthael.

Blizzard uses 3 diffrent styles for their ce's ...

Diablo CE

And yes, some statues would be awesome instead of digital rivers - i don't care for profile pictures in StarCraft2 <.< gimme a bad ass zergling statue instead .... or a plush

It is more like the content of the CE that is the same pretty much..

Like the first of all games had something special

WoW Vanilla - Cloth Map
SC2 - Dog Tag USB + Comic
D3 Vanilla - Diablo skull usb

But after that it is pretty much in all changed the special out with a mousepad..

So when you getting a CE of blizzard game you get

- Game
- Soundtrack
- Artbook
- Behind the scenes
- Mousepad
- Some digital stuff for blizz games
And the digital stuff is pretty much like
-- SC portraits
-- WoW a Pet
-- D3 Wings or/and banner stuff

I would really like some statues from these games..
Lucky it is able to get some statues from else where.. Some pretty expensive like the Diablo from Sideshow.. But then there is the funko ones.. And just found a 11" Tyrael on ebay yesterday..

yah so what do we learn? Always buy the first CE of the franchise and not the addons
