Did it come with a G1 or G2 metalpak? I was under the impression there was both, but I'd be curious to know for sure.

Not sure perhaps you can enlighten me to the differences. in the interim I have uploaded 2 images of the case to a site (links here):


Note on the cardboard wrap cover how it says "Bonus Metal Case" and not Steelbook. Do steelbooks have that extra flat bit on the spine which covers up the rather ugly hingeing (like in the AC games steelbooks)? I can find no G1 nor G2 etched anywhere into the steel. Is "steelbook" a copyrighted term for the ones I mention?

Steelbook is not only copyrighted but also a different design; it's like you described, just with more differing minutiae. G1 is DVD sized case, G2 is Blu-ray sized case. You're new here, aren't you? Lol

thank you for your sage advice. And no I've actually been here a while, and helped and offered users here get New Zealand editions of games they are seeking(at no profit to myself). I'm not all that fussed collecting steelbooks in comparison to other CE's. Sure they come as part of many CEs but Can you possibly tell me what this metal case is classed as then as it is quite fat. Fat enough to hold a ps3 game and a pack of tarot cards to boot:



I did actually do a search in this site under G1 G2 Steelbook as well as on the web and couldn't find any info about it hence I am asking you. You seem to have the answers as you seem to collect alot of these LEs... thanks

Proc I would just call that a tin. Like your thief game the case the game sits in is what is classified as a steelbook or metalpak. That tin holds the game and cards. And if im correct steelbook would be imprinted on the lower left corner on the inside of the right part of the case. I could be wrong so someone please correct me if thats the case

By the way, here in Spain saw it yesterday, and the metalpak comes in a holografic cardboard sleeve (much more cooler than I expected).

It became sealed, and only G1 sized.

All EU countries are suppose to be the same, don't?

Will grab mine this week...was a great surprise seeing something more than a sad and naked metalpak...

Yep. At least czech rep got the slipcover as well
