Okay so this is kind of interesting: In the screenshot below (on the linked webpage), we see 3 different versions of the game. One being the simple standard edition at basic price. Another one version of the game titled "The Last of Us Part II - Standard Edition + Steelbook (English) PS4 - DLC Offer" w/ new steelbook design at a slightly higher price, and then the Special Edition with the steelbook design we all know about.

So, it looks like they might be releasing another Standard Edition that comes with a different Steelbook. I can't say for sure, but if they are doing this then they are charging very little for Steelbook for this new Standard Edition which seems kinda odd to me.

Actually it wasnt on an email from Playstation that i read, but the info comes from PlayStation.

Oh man, seeing another variant of the steelbook might result for me breaking a bank to get it.
