Well that sucks for PC users. I have to admit though, as a general rule, PC collector editions don't sell nearly as well as console versions do. This may be a smart business decision on the part of WB to try and save production cost. As a collector, everytime I've ever searched around to buy a Collector edition of a particular cross-platform game, I always find an overabundance of PC versions available, generally well into the future (so not selling well), and find it quite difficult to track down console versions (especially those for Xbox 360 which seem to always be the rarest of the 3 platforms for any kind of collector or special edition game).

True but the contents are exactly the same, so all they would need to do is put a PC DVD game case and alter the box art slightly.

It's only a rumor that no collectors edition will be available, so I am hoping it will be. The first one got a Collectors Edition and was a very popular game on the PC and there would be a lot of people wanting to purchase it as part of there collection.

Fingers crossed.

If it doesn't at least I will save some money!

Wait, back it up a bit now. What about the game case. Any info on it so far? what about a steelbook or at least a game case for the cd?.

This would be the first CE that doesn't have a game case, lol-- what!!

So the statue is 1/6 scale that is established, but in inches means 8-12? correct?

I'm going to stop by my local Gamestop store for questioning.

well the castlevania had the cd with the artbook together as well..

1/6 would mean 12-inch standing, but since it is crouching probably make it 9 more or less. and add the base to the height as well since it's elevated.

bleh..digital soundtrack again? is it too hard to make a audio cd nowadays?

I asked about this earlier, and apparently there will not be a case. It looks like the disc slips into the art book. EB Games in Australia has a SteelBook edition.

Personally, I think having "no case" for the game disc makes it all that more "special" as a collector's edition. It really sets it apart from all the others...I thought the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow Collector's Edition was beautifully done. Having the disc inside an artbook (as the case) made it very unique.
