Isn't it a better marketing strategy to have them in stock all the way to release then hold back stock after release date so it looks like they have sold out? Examples include Nintendo and Apple...

Genuinely think Game have used up all their stock. There's demand for additional Care Packages in store so wouldn't make sense withholding any.

btw, there is no platform branding on the carepackage packaging or anything. If you cant find the platform of your choice, just get the other version (need only swap game than).
