I think it was mentioned and pictured in the assassins creed figures/statues thread I'll hop on my PC and see if its the same one

If someone was to supply a link to the Amazon.fr one it'd help me out

Edit
Yes it was discussed in the figures /statues thread
And it was concluded that it is a flat pack item
Like a children's 3D foam self assembly jigsaw puzzle /toy
As you can tell in the pictures as you can see the white foam all over it
So don't buy it thinking its a detailed model
There is no detailing. Its all flat printed pictures

Yes I found it in the other thread. Can be a bit of a hunt finding things sometimes. Take it you don't need Amazon.fr link now ?

It's kind of damned if you do damned if you don't. Either way I'll kick myself. Probably more when it all starts bending during assembly and then when it all starts falling apart. It would've been great if they'd done a proper version of this.

Maybe I'll see sense but sense is very far away at the moment. What if...

Don't need the link

Also its not very flexible
I've had some experience with this sort of product before
And if you bite it then it leaves a mark
It take effort to bend it and crease it, a child 0-3(sad onion) (aged 0-8 I'd say) could only damage it by biting it
An adult could damage or but its not thin like matchstick models its roughly 5mm thick (I think) and its pretty stiff foam, so unless your Conan /Herman or Tarzan you shouldn't have a problem with breaking it oh and its easily dismantled for washing in a bath/shower/washing machine

(Trying to give you as much info as possible)
Of it turns up in the uk I'll buy it
If I can see it in person before purchase i'd be happier

I hear you.

A child 0-3 would no doubt make a better job of it than me. I'm hopeless at models; kind of a bit like Peter Boyle in Young Frankenstein. But it's the Jackdaw.

I forgot to add
This sort of model assembly will be made so a child of 3-4 could assemble it with little effort
All the pieces should be designed to be really obvious which piece goes where
And it should be obvious when you ate trying to put it together wrong
