They told me that they have only plans for two variants of the Skyrim box set: the very limited NYCC exclusive "Sweet Roll" Edition and another one that will be available more widely.

EDIT: Standard Edition will be available through thinkgeek.

"Dragonborn" variant of the Skyrim box set will be available through thinkgeek and the Bethesda store from October 6th.

No word on the exact number of copies, but it sounds like these will be around for quite some time.
