Yeah, I imagine it will be on case to case basis. The overall quality of steelbooks have sadly been going down so they get very easily scratched now adays if they aren't wrapped (sometimes when even when they are wrapped )

Yeah, they just deliver these in a big box, no protection at all, but I always filter out the good ones.
