I know that the Region 1 (NTSC) steelcase of the Black Armour Edition is quite different than the Region 2 (PAL) one but can someone provide me any information about it?

I own the Region 2 edition for PS3 and it has a clear plastic sleeve with the Logo and info on it and the steelcase has the knight design on it. As far as i have "heard" the Region 1 version has a cardboard sleeve with the artwork on it and the steelcase has the knight and "Dark Souls II" text embossed. Can anyone who owns the NTSC version or has seen it confirm the differences?

thank you in advance
I can confirm that the Region 1 has an embossed name as well as the knight itself. I do not have the Region 2..yet, so I can't confirm they are different, but it seems so from everything I've seen and read.

So yes, cardboard sleeve, embossed metalpak!

Thank you very much for the info

Yes, judging from the above mentioned Region 1 is quite different compared to Region 2, and in my personal opinion Region 1 seems way more attractive.
So, i guess i am going to get myself a copy of the Region 1 version as well

Any ideas or suggestions about where i should order one from? I guess ebay.com or amazon.com would be ok but if there's any other suggestion i would gladly check it out

Thanks again an have a great week

Yeah ebay is your best bet to finding one. I have seen them for about ~20-30 like Dan mentioned.
Good luck at finding one! I myself will have to find the Region 2 metalpak eventually.

LOL, Indeed Just noticed it and also if you take a closer look on the artwork of both in the Region 2 version the whole image is like zoomed compared to the Region 1 where the knight is a bit more far and has more of the body part visible as well as the mountain on the background.

Lol you noticed?

Yes there are indeed some about $20-30 but sadly most of the sellers do not ship to Greece :/ so i guess i will be going for buying it as "new" from one of those who ship overseas.

Will you be looking for the Region 2 metalpack as it is in the "Black Armour Edition" ? or as it comes with the Region 2 Collectors Edition? (the difference is that the Collectors' Edition metalpack has no sleeve) xD
