I am interested to know where you obtained the shelving etc from? I currently have book selves but really like the option of being able to store items in the cupboards ;-)

A kitchen cabinet maker was the only person I could get to do it. They do all sorts of shelving. I'm in Australia so I'm not sure who you'd turn to in the UK, I imagine it'd be the same sort of tradesman.
This was the room (with crappy IKEA shelves) before I had it redone: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...newroom_09.jpg It's made a world of difference.
