You’re probably talking to Ken but just like the Ellie Edition I found out about this too late as well.

Unfortunately scalpers are a part of our hobby. I’m not a fan of going through eBay when it comes to stuff either and I HATE people making money off of others hard work just by posing it on eBay but sometimes I find I don’t have a choice.

(You don’t want to know what I just spent to acquire the Telltale Walking Dead Signature Edition...)

I managed to get the statue. One eBay wank stain manage to get one and already sold it for $900. I’m hoping there will be more stock for the Ellie edition. People are begging for it and so am i

I bought the last one off him I generally never pay this amount to scalpers but it's something personally worth it for me sigh. Still really upset had to pay 4x the amount. Guess it's part of a collector's life. Here's to being broke.

How do you guys handle the risk that at the end you will receive nothing from that scalpers? Release date is far away and I guess eBay buyer protection does not cover such a long period.

Not to mention that selling items not yet released is against their policy. I am always shocked they keep supporting these pre-order listings instead of wiping them out.
