Underwhelmed by the Dead Space 2 LE's replica cutter?

Quote:
The Plasma Cutter replica included with the collector's edition of Dead Space 2 is nice and all, but it doesn't have that overboard extravagance that some people want from their video game memorabilia. Now, these full-size replicas being released next month -- there's some real, substantial money-wastin'.

The $220 replica of the Plasma Cutter from the first Dead Space, and the $240 Dead Space 2 version, are packaged in metal briefcase-style carriers, and have rechargeable batteries to power the realistic "3-blast spot" lighting. The only thing they lack is real cutting power -- which is a shame, because at these prices, you're going to wish for real life-or-death monster battles to justify the cost.

Any idea on numbers.

Some Steelbook news for everyone.

Akira Blu-ray Steelbook is coming out on the 27 - June -2011 and is a UK Exclusive, It also includes a 40 page Art book and a DVD copy.

Currently HMV are the cheapest at £17.99 but can also be purchased from Amazon or Play.com for £22.99. The latter two will likley lower the price closer to launch.

It is said to be very limited but no one has confirmed that. I have pre-ordered my copy.

Good news for PAL fand of Ar Tonelico Qoga, we don't get the Limited edition set like NTSC region. However pre-order bonuses are on the way.

If you pre-order the game at GAME.co.uk or Gamestation you get the same Art book as the one in the NTSC limited edition. priced at £34.99.

---------------------------------

If you pre-order the game from Play.com you get a soundtrack, however it costs £39.99.

---------------------------------
Now the Super deal I think most people will go for. If you pre-order from Gameplay ( Part of the Game store group). You get both the Artbook and Soundtrack CD. What's more it's just £29.99.

-------------

For Australia ebgames.com.au have the Artbook as a pre-order bonus. The price is $68 AUD.

-----------
If anyone knows if their country is getting a pre-order bonus release aswell please let us know here.

Also before anyone asks why I bothered putting the other pre-order bonuses that are more expensive and only have either the Artbook and CD. It's because some members have vouchers they may wish to use at certain stores.
