The Reason I ask is because I got a jumbo Gears of war steelbook (though it was the standard steelbook I ordered) to hold all three games, it has places for 6 discs.

Can't figure out why

Anybody know what the 6th place holder is for?

Anyone figured out why there is 6 disc places for this, could it be a mistake.

I think I will just sell it on anyway?

Did they ever sell soundtracks seperately? Or anything else like that? Seems strange that there are 6 spots

I know they sold original soundtracks for each game, are you thinking that it should the three standard copies of the game and 3 soundtracks?

Maybe... So that they could all be kept together, but again, that's only a guess - but it seems like the only possible/logical explanation at this point, unless there is a second disc in any of the cases anyway - but yeah, if they all only come with one disc, then that's probably the reason

Both Gears1 and Gears2 were re-released as 2-disc editions, where the 2nd disc held the DLC expansions.

it's possible that the 6th slot is for a potential gears of war 3 expansion disc.

of course the CE for each game also had 2 discs, with the 2nd disc housing behind the scenes content.

That interesting, but it is for the future game of year edition, why release steel book now.

What's more the Steel book was released in Germany where there is no official release of the soundtracks.

This whole thing makes no sense to me.

Maybe could be interesting, in italy we got another limited edition called DELTA LIMITED EDITION, exlusive to opengames (kind like gamestop but all italian)
