To avoid missing out. Some people may not have the money to pay for out in full right now
as Ubisoft requires payment up front, as well as some who may not have a credit card or paypal account.Therefore cash is the only option.

i seriously doubt the US is getting anything besides the steelbook promo, for AC Revelations, all we got was added first print dlc from gamestop and that's it..i think after Assassins Creed Brotherhood Collectors editions BOMBED in the US, even including the gamestop exclusive harliquin edition, i think US UBI will forgoe big tier, full blown collectors editions, even today, we can find Assassins Creed Brotherhood collectors edition languishing on shelves in select retailers, even with big markdowns..so i think they will skip over the US, just like they did with revelations.

Theres a few months or so to go,so who knows what will happen within that time. There may yet be more to come. If you find an Assassins Creed 2 Black Edition for an xbox languishing on a shelf let me know

why as each moment pass I feel that the freedom edition might run out of stock at the end of the week from EB.. is it cause it's a damn EB exclusive T_T.. I preordered both edition just now.. but had to cancel >.< I don't get pay till next week and greedy EB wants 30 dollars deposit for both the freedom and Join/Die Edition (60 is a LOT of money) lol.
