It seems as if the Gold Mario are not as rare as once thought. The restock at Walmarts yesterday had a lot of people showing pictures with them sitting on the shelves/pegs still. Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to chase one down for anyone on here, but at least it means that 1) ebay prices will drop and 2) there's hope for those of you who still want to get one for our overseas members here.

Also, NOA tweeted yesterday that the Mario standalone amiibo (from the SMB series) will be available 4/3/15 for those who didn't want the "bundle".

I was actually surprised about the gold mario amiibo too not being all THAT rare and all. Can't wait my villager comes in today!! Then all I have to do is wait for my King Dedede at Gamestop. I'm finally taking a little break and not buy nothing but two CE's a month. Time to save money!

Plus a Splatoon Special Edition in Europe, with exclusive squid amiibo (same squid available in a 3-amiibo pack with Inkling Girl and Boy in US)

not sure if this is true or not (haven't verified with my GSO sources yet), but it looks like Ness may be a GS exclusive?

Assuming it's really true, notice they mention the brand new Splatoon amiibos, but not the brand new Greninja or Jigglypuff. Store exclusives elsewhere perhaps?
