Re: Fallout 4
Fallout 4 frozen TV dinner:
Neat but a shitty collectible... who wants to keep a piece of their collection on ice all the time? There is also the a shirt in abraxo box (and other items) from the launch party in LA: All too expensive for me

Re: Fallout 4
These Fallout 4 items are getting out of hand. This is ridiculous.

Re: Fallout 4
Well those mostly are promo items that were give out at the launch party. The only retinal one is the Nuka Cola Quantum (I think).

Re: Fallout 4
Either way, it feels like there is just way too much Fallout 4 stuff (even just retail stuff).

Re: Fallout 4
Yeah I agree completely on that. It os overwhelming. Fallout 3 was better in terms of promo items... not too little and not too much... but 4 is just crazy. I could never collect for it. Only a few items here and there.

Re: Fallout 4
More than likely they had the Nuka Cola Quantum bottles to hand out at the launch event as Target stores can't sell them before the 10th, they are locked out of the system until then. How many they gave out at the event is unknown, but I do know that Target only ordered one initial shipment of the soda, I was told there were no plans for them to order another supply so whatever is out there come Tuesday will be it.

Re: Fallout 4
I grabbed the abraxo and sugar bombs from someone else selling everything much cheaper (but still way too much) yesterday. This game has bled me dry and better be worth it. Lol

Quote:
It is a hugely popular license now. It has only gotten bigger since 3, it is kind of a Bioshock and Borderlands equivalent (as in the first game sold not all that well but the sequels exploded, i.e. Bioshock Infinite and especially Borderlands 2). Bethesda is cashing in on the popularity, the profit with merchandise alone this time will be staggering. Fallout 3 sold only around 4-5 million in its main selling time frame (over 90% of sales are always in the first few months). In comparison I feel Fallout 4 will double that easily even being on new gen. Quote:
I think I read around 1,500 people were at the event. Though as far as the soda is concerned this does not mean much if every Target will have some. Even one for the stores order is a massive amount. Nice, they both have a shits inside right?

Re: Fallout 4
From what I have heard Target stores will have less than 12 bottles each. I can't confirm that but that is just what I have heard. Its also while supplies last per store, I don't believe they will be restocking them. Originally it was advertised as being sold ONLY on 11/10 but they changed the wording on the Target site to reflect that it goes on sale 11/10 but I suspect at the inexpensive $3 per bottle price point, collectors will more than likely pick up multiples if they can. If they had given out a bottle to every person who attended the event I think you would have seen eBay flooded with them already and that isnt the case. My guess is those were part of a prize drawing, etc and perhaps only a few bottles were given out.
