Ah ok yeah the game is a bitch most of the times but I love the art style of it and the concept of the world

Would love a lore book for dark souls but doubt it'd be in english

We'll see

Zavvi usually only gets a portion of a steelbook run but it may be this low

I'm thinking somewhere else will get this steel too though

Once you get past the initial difficulty it's not actually that hard. I remember when I first played it and was completely over whelmed, but it gets easier about halfway through, and once you've beaten it once you'll probably have a fairly good grasp on things.

yeah you have to get into it...go pyromancy and the game is really easy (there are also a few good spots to grind).

I finished dark souls...only never finished demon souls...i should give it ago, but i have to many games to play already.

I loved Demon's Souls too, (finished both games with some other players help) especially how awesome the level design is. Once you reach a certain point most often you can activate some sort of shortcut so if you die you don't have to grind through 90% of the level again.

A short run from the start gets you to the boss.

What attracted me most to the Souls series are:

- The relentless difficulty that can only be overcome through patience, skills and lots of painful lessons.
- The feeling of besting a boss for the first time is akin to winning lottery.
- The gothic Art direction that screams PURE EVIL at every corner.

On a note, some horrific levels actually frightens me and make me wanna stop playing sometimes. =\

All in all, the Souls series are really unique, and I hope Dark Souls 2 will carry on their style and... please DO NOT dump down the difficulty which the games are renowned for.

Haha, i might have exaggerated a little. But i really loathed Valley Of Defilement from Demon's Souls and Blighttown from Dark Souls.

Pure evil locales they were..
