The best about all this, is that you don't even receive e PS4 with a metal gear packaging or anything even close to it.

You basicaly receive a big box, with a normal blue packaged PS4, the game in loose outside and a little cardboard box with your HDD plate in loose too....

I know someone who did not even received the hdd plate and got a paper saying that the limited fox edition plate will be shipped to him from 29 of march. big lol

I can totally see people just selling the HDD plate by itself. *sigh* I wouldn't even call that a limited edition console...

My problem isn't with it being a faceplate cover, I knew and expected as much. My problem is with the laziness of it not having a special console box, and it not being readily attached to the console.

yea true and I totaly agree with you. It's lazy. A proper limited edition console should come with a limited edition packaging with everything stuffed inside.

They said " playstation 4 Fox model " while it is a " PS4 regular jet black " model.

Really not cool, I'm pretty sure anybody would have expected a packaging similar to this.

Now I'm patiently waiting for the FF 14 edition to get released to see of they will do the same thing again.

Ff14 console i exactly the same regular console with faceplate outside the box puts me off getting one

I think they should have done something else to that console other than just make it red, like put a graphic on it or something.
