I like your setup though, very clean looking! Also, totally reminded me that I need to get one of those Ghost plushies!
All my Xbox 360 consoles have been claimed! As for controllers, I still have the Halo 3, ODST, Halo 4, UNSC, and Reach controllers available if you are interested in them.

My Ghost plushy arrived. SO much bigger than I expected!

Anyway, yeah, I am going for that clean, uncluttered look for my collection and just sticking to a few different games. I ended up moving all the books I had on the bottom, so that opens up a free cubby. Figuring things out slowly!

Alright, trying to figure out how to display my Xbox One consoles (Halo 5 and Forza 6).

Here is where I am at with the cubbies in my shelving:

The problem is I have a cat and I am not sure how she'll treat Xbox One consoles sitting in those bottom 2 cubbies. I know for a fact she will check on figures sitting down there, so I can't move my Deus Ex stuff down there or anything from the top. I'd rather not move the Destiny stuff as I don't want cat hair all over the plush and who knows if she'll start playing with them. Not sure how she will do with the controllers.

Anyone who owns a cat have any advice? IKEA sells doors for the cubbies, but then I might as well not display anything in those spaces. :/

I suggest make/get a stand for each console that makes it impossible for your cat to get around the cubby, and to keep the consoles as close to the top as possible.

Another thought is to just screw pieces of non glare plexi after you put your consoles inside the cubby. (plus side of this, is even less dust! yay!)

(also, grats on getting that ghost plushie. It's damn adorable)

I've thought about stands. That might work. I'll have to try to find something that will fit and is deep enough to support the Xbox One.

IKEA used to make glass doors for the cubbies, but they don't anymore. Those would be perfect!

The plushie is pretty nice. It was much bigger than I was expecting!

It'd be cheaper for you to go to a plastics shop and ask to see what sizes of clear, scrap pieces they have for sale. You might have to cut them down to the right size, but it shouldn't be all that expensive compared to glass ikea doors.

I think those IKEA glass doors were only $15-20 each which isn't too bad for two. I just wish they still made them. I'm looking around for clear plastic stands/small shelves that will fit. I have no idea if I'll find anything... Thanks for the idea, though!

EDIT: Just found this that fits almost perfectly and is deep enough for the Xbox One. It isn't quite as wide, but it should be wide enough for the rubber feet of the Xbox One. I'll order a couple and see how they fit.

It's easy, get rid of the cat (give it to Coma) Then you're all set!

Those mini shelves arrived from IKEA and work perfectly. I'll have a new picture of everything very soon!
