Ha, none...I've got to a point to where anything more than a 5000 piece count is too much. I think all CEs should be 5000 or less. To hear 70,000+ kind of sucks. Plus, I never know if that's 70,000 per system, per CE..Or 70,000 amongst all the CEs combined (Which is a hell of a lot better)..
I could be wrong though...

Too hard to collect if it is 5000 unit. Sure the value would be great but a lot of people will miss out. I almost missed out on Borderlands Claptrap in a box too just because I am in Australia.

The last mortal kombats CE hasnt held its value in the slightest. Even new, youre lucky to maybe get half of what you payed.

Speaking of MK CEs..Can anyone find all of the Deception cover CEs (New/Sealed)? It seems like the Scorpion/Baraka ones are damn near impossible. Not necessarily making them rare I think, but you never know...

Hmm not sure on this one. One one hand, I havn't played MK in over 5 years... on the other, the scorpion statue looks like it could be the next assassins creed protagonist

I've become the same way... I bought nearly every 360 CE that came out and by the time the One came out I was at capacity for my collection and at least half of the CEs that I bought along the way I no longer care about and no longer have any value compared to what I paid for them...

so my buying habbits now is to only buy very limited releases or high production releases only if they're a game I like and then I'll wait until the price drops a bit after release before buying.

so far it's worked out great, I'm super happy with all of the CEs I've bought since starting this and even though I'm buying more expensive CEs my bank account has a lot more in it too because I'm buying so much less.

with MK I love the series but nothing about either CE makes it a must buy for me, so I'm waiting until after release to see if I can pick them up cheaper.

I've got Baraka, this was actually what I got when I bought the game new back when it was released, I've never been able to find a Scorpion though.

I'm trying to find the Armageddon SteelBook with just the dragon logo too.

Each year, we get less content for pricier collectors.

I'm sorry but 100£ for a statue? ( honestly, looking from the pictures, it looks like plastic. )

for 100£ I would expect a statue, a 140 pages artbook ( A4 format ) a DVD making of and a few goodies all packed up in an elegantly designed box.

No I'm not dreaming, this things used to exist fairly often in the past and were cheaper than 100£

You do make a good point my friend. Look at the amount of content that came with borderlands 2 ultimate loot chest edition...not to mention you got a calendar for preordering.
