One of our local stores refused to send the edition via courier or post and offering customers local pickup only. The reason is exactly that - whole package of this edition is just weak and they encountered a lot of broken houses when spreading editions to their branch offices.

They simply forced their customers to come and pick it personally or offered sending via courier at our own risk. What more, they started checking all editions for broken houses so at the end all collectors will have their editions opened (at least we who ordered from this big store).

Gamestop is allowing you to purchase the game NOW so you can play it, and when they get the CE, theyre allowing a full value ($60) trade in and taking an additional $30 off the CE for the trouble. Totally worth it for needing to wait a couple extra days

European Collector's Editions by Capcom have always been horrible and stupidly overpriced. One of Capcom's editions is on my top ten of the worst CEs ever made for a videogame and I did not even bothered the slightest with this edition - I'm glad I was right to stay away from it.

Just saw that the Collector's Edition of Resident Evil VII is up on Amazon.co.uk for £69.99 GBP. No game but still a great chance to grab the mansion.
