I don't understand why Jacob won't respond to Saturn with a more direct approach. I have had nothing but good interaction with Jacob. Saturn, are you sure you gave him the correct address in the right format? I'm just trying to figure this out to myself. It doesn't make sense...

I have done business with him several times, for very valuable items, and I have been very happy with the results. I received both shipments in near perfect condition. Jacob was also a bit slow to respond to me but I eventually got my items, feedback was left (both ways) and all was well!

I just can't for the life of me understand why a member so involved and with such a positive record would not do what is right here and give the tracking numbers (if they were promised in the first place). In some cases, like with me, I can't give anyone international a tracking #, I can only give customs numbers - but I'm pretty sure it's different with where Jacob lives and the service he uses. For me, USPS does not offer international tracking with their main options.

Could it be that something has happened IRL to distract Jacob from this? Such as famil emergency etc?

I too have dealt with Jacob in the past, spent like £200 on some press kits, received them within the same week (bearing in mind I am also in the UK) and left feedback and all was perfect.

I doubt he's not responding on purpose, I imagine it is something in his personal life that is causing him to be non-responsive.

Hope you get an answer from him soon, and hope he's okay xx

I know Josh for 2 years, even before joining this forum. I met him through ebay, several times we did transactions over paypal, and he has always been honest and prompt. Sends items by special delivery garunteed service. Yes I do agree that Saturn had some unpleasant experience, but I am telling my previous experiences and can vouch for Jacob. He is 100% reliable and trustworthy in my humble opinion. Give him an oppostunity to clear his case. Cheers

Don't get me wrong. I've been very patient up to this point. I have an ebay account with almost 10 years of existance and over 1000 points of positive feedback atill at 100%. I haven't left a neutral or negative feedback in months or even years even with I receive stuff damaged due to terrible packaging, the item is not exactly as described etc. The last thing I would want to do was to leave negative feedback to a member from this forum, especially considering I had already dealt with him in the past and everything went fine.

The communication went fine at the beginning. After I sent the payment, he asked me to confirm when the item arrived, and I promptly replied. This was on March 10. Then I never heard from him again. He didn't reply to his topic or to my PMs. The next time I was able to get in touch with him was by e-mail on April 12h after I contacted an admin. I believe that, even after waiting over one month, my first e-mail to him was kind/comprehensive and he replied the same day. He apologised and I gladly accepted that. I though everything would be solved by that time. But then no further response was received until May 1st. He promptly replied to my e-mail saying a replacement was being sent the next day. Finally, over 20 days later and nothing arrived, I was already upset enough and sent him another e-mail. By that time I was determined to leave negative feedback but I still waited one day before doing so.

I believe he might have his problems and I would accept it if he would be more communicative. I am not the sort of guy to send PM after PM asking for a reply, but I would expect a response within the following days at least. I just waited and waited, expecting to receive the item or a message from him. I never asked my money back and I don't think I was rude except in my last e-mail before leaving negative feedback.

Ye never had problems with jacob, had multiple dealing with him well over 500 pound. Always received very fast to my country! I agree communication could be better sometimes, but always received package in good order.

Considering all of us have had good experience with Jacob, including you Saturn, it is possible something in real life is keeping Jacob from setting this straight. Could be anything. Family death. an illness. He did say he was "out of country". It's also possible that customs confiscated or is witholding whatever it is Jacob sent you, but for the life of me I can't understand why Jacob won't just give you the tracking codes...

But, as you said, he is not communicating and there is not much choice for you but to leave negative feedback. Perhaps if later on he sets thing straight you can reverse it with help from the powers that be (like Symphony or Jugs)

Sorry for the typos in my previous message

Yes, basically, there wasn't much left to do but leave a negative feedback. He communicated a few times when I e-mailed him and he actually replied quite fast. I thought everything would be ok for 3 times: when I bought the item, when he said he would send a replacement if the previous didn't arrive and when he said he was finally going to send it. But I had to worry each time the item was taking too long to arrive.

He told me he was on holidays for 2 weeks and had some personal issues as well. Even if something serious did happen, he could at least warn me about it. I'm a comprehensive person but I obviously can't guess what's going on if he doesn't tell me.

Yeah I could retract my negative feedback if that's possible and I'd be willing to pay the postage costs he had to pay for resending the item if it really wasn't his fault. But the way things are now, that's a little hard to do.

It's a shame though. He had very interesting press kits for fairly good prices. I would probably buy a couple others in the future but now that this happened I bet none of us would be willing to deal with each other again.

Hi Saturn,

I'm clearly not ignoring you as I responded to your message last night only a few posts up last night. Unfortunately the time I get in the day to check these forums is quite minimal.

I'm searching my records for the tracking number as we speak and will post it on this thread so everyone can see the item was sent out for the third time last week.

This is the first problem I've encountered and have over 20 bits of positive feedback. Thanks to everyone that very kindly explained their positive experiences above.
