I'll just be getting the Hardened Edition for now, $230 is a bit too rich for my blood.

These will drop in price, I picked up a Black Ops Prestige (with car) for $150 not long after it's release.

knowing how big the call of duty franchise is..the care package will probably be produced tenfold more than the similiar borderlands 2 version...so it's doubtful the supply will be strictly limited...it may look similiar to borderlands 2 package, but that game is somewhat obscure and targets a niche crowd whereas call of duty is massive and just like in the past..i'm sure i will some at gamestop collecting dust 3 months post release knocked down in price..just like last time.

I know what you mean, i was there when both the EB games manager and JB Hi Fi manager saw an image of it alongside people, they both looked like they were going to cry when they thought about how they were going to display them when they didn't sell.

It's £50 to pre-order the Care Package one in store here. Not sure what to make of it.

Exactly The Halo console is only £20. I can only guess that they'll only be getting the exact amount to match deposits. Tbf, could probably sell a spare Halo console a lot easier than a spare Care Package edition, so guess they're just trying to cut their risk.

Yeah but i would have thought the same about Darksiders 2 CE, i figured if i listed it for auction at $100 that i'd be optimistically going to break even, but as a glimmer of hope i put $170 as a buy it now with Free shipping, i went to check the mail and it sold in 5 minutes at the buy it now price. i also never expected ANY shop to sell out an allocation of Halo 4 LE but so far i've seen it happen.

TL;DR Weird stuff's going on.

I don't know about over there but at least if i cancel i can get my cash back and put it towards something else, instead of having it locked exclusively to that store.
