Asian CE you're looking in the hundreds range. The distributor for whole of Southeast Asia (Singapore,Malaysia,Indonesia etc) said that less than 100 copies were available for the region. HK/Taiwan also got similar numbers. Japan/Korea/China did not get this. Not sure whether India had it.

So we're looking at 200-500 with all likelihood being in the 300 range.

Hmmm I heard that it was much higher. No exact number though.

I'm not too sure which other countries got it but the numbers for South East Asia/HK/Taiwan are in low hundreds range.

Many shops here did not get any copies and those who did got 1-2 only. My friend in HK said the preorders were sold out in 1 day.

The other big countries like Japan/Korea/China did not get it. That doesn't leave many more countries.

If there are more then they messed up the supply somewhere.

Still, i just cant believe the 5000 number. I still think it would have sold out even faster and that there would be less on feebay. But i might just be mistaken on the market for 180dollar CE. And James provided quite solid proof.
