Zavvi have never charged me this early before. They must be shitting themselves because the cancellations must be outstripping the fresh orders = lots left on their hands, given the extra units for the new edition.

Wish I'd cancelled mine now and waited for the price drop. If it's a twatting stickerbook after all this . . .I think i'm gonna detonate

Its not false advertising though as they have always stated steelbook variant. unless you were one of the original 4000 purchasers. In which you shoulx have every right to.

Been informed is not explicit and not definitive. I was informed my flight from spain last week would land on time but it was 20 mins late arriving at southampton. Im done with this thread now. Its starting to be me

I think in zavvi's case:
"been informed" = "i'm guessing"
"I confirm" = "I'll just answer whatever so you'll leave me alone"

It's just like an email they sent to me "I confirm that your refund has been processed and your credit card statement will show it in 3-5 working days" then after 1 month I have not received it and when I check again they reply "I can confirm that this has been refunded on xx/xx/xx" and then when I tell them I paid by paypal etc, they finally refund. That's zavvi, nothing they say is 100%

yeah, they totally screwed up my RE 3DS order - I had RE:Rev on pre-order and they sent me RE:Mercs - what a pain that was getting sorted...they wanted me to return and wait for a refund I was like "erm, I don't think so - you took funds without permission...let's see what trading standards say" then all of a sudden I got a refund
