It really is stunning in person. Even people who do not collect are taken by how big it is when I show it to them (the statue I mean ).

Well to be fair the War statue was never for sale. F4F is making one but it is a good deal smaller then this one.

Yeah took me a long time to get all the different sets of the limited edition KoA tarot cards. As for the fan I got lucky awhile back, have not seen another since though so must be pretty darn rare (I love it most due to how it looks amazing displayed).

Oh found the pic I remembered from the DeviantArt contest. I also found the link to the contest but sadly they have taken the page down. But the top winner won one of these statues as well so that is at least 2 of them that was given away in a contest (assuming the xbox live one is not the same one).

Got some new Darksiders promo merch! Not much left to find but still finding the odd new items now and then that I never knew about.

First is a set of booklets from the Darksiders II Hands on Press Preview at an event. Also I realized there are 4 versions of mini booklets out there. There is the "Hand Book" and the "Game Booklet" that goes with the hands on event strategy guide. Then there is also two other "Game Booklets", one is the launch/manager's kit version and the other is the German press version (the press and launch version are mostly the same except the press version has a bit more content and the have different dates on the back... or more accurately one has an exact date while the other is just the month).

Oh and here is a new image that shows my top 4 wanted items right now. Really there are some bigger items too but those are not realistic to find so these are it for now.

The USB I once bought from someone here but it got sent to the wrong person or lost. Never found another to replace it all these years later.

The E3 2009 Booklet thing I only noticed recently. It was given out by Darksiders 1 Booth Babes (see pic below).

The keychain I am not sure the history of. Only that I missed one at auction many years ago and haven't seen another so maybe an internal dev item.

Lastly the Darksiders II Heaphone Caps were a promo gift given out around the launch of the game. Missed these as well.

Great update! Every update you show surprises me how much they promoted Darksiders. I never would've thought they'd put this much money into the franchise, especially now knowing with how the studio ended up. I'm at least glad to see the franchise still thriving. Are you actively searching for the new Darksiders merch or do you mainly focus on just 2?

Yeah the old THQ was promo item crazy and I love them for it. The new THQ Nordic doesn't really make much.

I collect promo items for all the Darksiders games (#2 and #3 on my "ITEMS WANTED" list image above are both Darksiders 1 items). My collection has items from every game in it. My updates are just what I happen to recently find/get.

Upload the pictures used for the tags and make your own? I don't believe they were just promo items, as Astro has gone through countless games to do those tags for, and have had the option for custom ones for a long time as well.

I appreciate the link and the thought, but I would want the ones that were officially made. Though it does make me wonder if I do find some if they are legit or not (don't like things that can be more or less faked).

I want the top 2 far more though, just figured I would add these easier ones on there too.

I don't know how you'd know if they were official or not though is what I'm kind of getting at. Astro, through their site, had those exact caps available to purchase. If there were any differences between the purchasable ones and the ones given out as promo's though, I've no idea and it would be really hard to find out. I do know that you making the design through that link and finding a set that someone bought straight through the site is the same thing though.

Something like this is super weird. I get wanting the "actual" item, trust me. But in this case the "actual" item, and you making it, is the same thing. Kind of a gray area in terms of authenticity and your collection.

Maybe try emailing Astro about it? They might have some insight on if there are differences between the promo, the purchasable set and you making your own? If the plastics they used changed X year, or printing style changed Y year then you have an idea at least?
