But even if you're not a Zelda collector (or someone who collects ALL Zelda pieces), this one pretty much is THE iconic piece for that game and probably does a good job of representing it as a whole for those who didn't want 100 other little knick-knacks and stuff.

You've convinced me. Part of me was unsure because of the other replica that was kickstarted and wondered if it was worth it. I know F4F will do it justice and I think the magnetic thorns and interesting base will set it apart.

Well darn. Interestingly enough, they're also doing a "refer a friend" bonus whereby you get "points" for someone using your individualized link after you've purchased it. If we didn't care so much about getting low numbers, we could start a chain to get us all some more points and save some mula by each person using the next's referral link!

D'oh!! Apparently their timeline post was off originally, they admitted the error but are still running early -- the LiveStream starts in 5 minutes (9am EST) and the pre-orders start at 10am EST), sorry about the mixup all! (Here's hoping Cosmic wakes up before the alarm!)

For some reason, checkout said I was earning something like 2390 points. Not sure why. Either way, got my order in. Thankfully, I don't care about numbers much, otherwise the site issues would've been even more frustrating.

It's based on the multiplier which is set from your membership status based on how many statues you purchased on the old site. My order is set to get my 6160 points.

F4F just announced following the Switch stream that they are releasing a BoTW Link 10" PVC figure -- it is the start of their "get our name out and be in lots of retailers" efforts and so expect to see much more PVC 10" lines, very likely Zelda down the road.

They will not impede the resin lines they said, though I'm sad to think that they would make some figures only in PVC and never get it to us in resin, and it seems like these will be easily available (perhaps not numbered as well).

I trust their attention to detail and quality, so these will be stellar no doubt, but I just hope it doesn't hinder their other efforts on the resin front either financially or logistically.

Guess we'll see, but the BoTW Link looks awesome!
