Great pickups Cosmic I've never actually seen the alternate cover for Blue Dragon before!

Oh, I'm now worried about my Tomb Raider as it's still sealed. Best go check on it now before it's too late to see about a replacement xx

I hate it too... never tried it before until now but I have got it set up so it is more like the older window now. But yeah it sucks.

But even if I knew it is a small sacrifice for how awesome this things is overall.... even the speakers are really good surprisingly. And it only cost me $930 as i got a manufacturer refurbished one. Saved over $300 from the new sale price and around $700 ff of retail (but they never sell for retail).

I wonder... you could downgrade it if it really meant that much to you... couldn't you?

you can but the only problem would be that you have to make sure the graphic card it comes with can run on a windows 7. otherwise you would be shooting youself in the foot

930 is an awesome price! i do need a laptop

I thought that was all about the drivers from Nvidia, or does it have to do with the OS too?

Yeah 930 was pretty good. I actually was getting a new one with a single GeForce 755M from Lenovo's website when i saw this one with the dual graphics cards for the same price (actually I saved $20 and the one I got is still a brand new laptop). Technically on paper this one should have 80% more graphics power then the single 755M. Like i said I have tried Skyrim and it can run that on the highest possible settings at 60fps so that is good enough for me.

Yeah it took me a goo 20 minutes to figure out how to get to all the things I need to get to. Once i got a "My Computer" shortcut onto my desktop I was golden from there.

Right-click in the bottom left corner gives access to quite a few things.

Not really that user-friendly.

My dear old mother loves Windows 8 for one reason: Microsoft Solitaire Collection and its daily challenges

Yeah somehow they made their OS less user-friendly which is dumb. The actual OS underneath the GUI is great but I would have to heavily modify it for my use and do not see it worth the effort yet
