Final Fantasy Xiii-2 Crystal and Collector's Edition announced

I pre-ordered the Crystal Edition, but I suspect that it'll just be another shitty cardboard box just like FF XIII was. I'm actually more interested in obtaining the SteelBook, which I suspect will be a generic G1 size given away alongside each copy of the game regardless of platform or edition you ordered

Pre-ordered the Crystal Edition since I'm almost convinced we won't be getting this in North America. Really wish I could get my hands on that gorgeous steelbook, though.

As far as i can tell the steelbook is exclusive to Game.co.uk as a pre-order bonus

I think someone also mention ebgames.au also has the steelbook but I don't know if it includes other pre-order item like games does(which I prefer to get all but I'm not from the UK :\)

Yeah, EB is only offering the 'steelbook' as a bonus. I think GAME.AU and JB will most likely split the other 'bonus' stuff so that it'll split the customers. But imo, the 'steelbook' will be a steal to get and you can have your other bonus stuff as well

I'm also anticipating those "bonus" DLC to appear packaged with the unannounced 3rd Edition!?

Though either way it's going be really difficult for me to get any of these without looking at ebay and paying loads more

Well even if PO the game and get the DLC Idk if it'll work on the game since I have never used DLC content and I'm not sure if it's UK exclusive. I really want that steelbook though and I see a Crystal/Limited edition on ebay and they're from the UK but I don't I cant stand the pricing D:

There's a 3rd edition as well? I only know of the Nordic edition, Crystal edition, and Collector edition or are you talking about the Nordic edition?

The Nordic Edition sounds more like an 'exclusive' for the Scandinavian regions [kinda like the exclusive editions that Poland gets].

It only has some dlc from the pre-order pack. Hardly anything that deserves to be called a seperate edition.

Are you sure they didn't mean three editions as in standard, limited and crystal? Doesn't kinda make much sense to announce 2 special editions and leave one more to reveal later...

It's early days, don't get so worried now. Wait for what the US?NA may be receiving. The first XIII sold exceptionally well in that region, so SE may actually treat you nicely guys this time Who know, the US may get the steelbook as a standard for the first press like they did for XII!?!

I believe the 'official' 3rd edition will be available to all the usual PAL regions as it was announced last weekend from Australia that there will be 3 editions available. For all we know, it could the a custom console edition for the PAL region that Japan is already getting.

I didn't even consider the 'standard edition' to be part of the 3 editions they announce, I mean, whenever I think of 'editions' I always omit the standard as they're nothing special and mostly comes with the special/limited/collector's edition anyway.

So I guess there is nothing other edition left unless they "surprise" us with an ultimate one of some sort?!? [like the Batman PC verison]

Well, I guess I may as well preorder from EB already.
