You can get mgs 4 collectors from amazon.jp for 9,500 yen plus shipping. I got mine sent to my tenso address, then fowarded to me. Its on its way. Expect to add another 2,500 yen for postage plus whatever customs duty is. To the uk around £16-17.

So all in to the uk is around £110

Luckily i purchased two as new for 140,000 from third party sellers which means i got to avoid customs as no item price written on parcel.

Mmm. I would be gutted if i paid new prices after reading this! Anyone used this company for items shipped to the uk? It advises royal mail postage. Not ems. Might still get stung the 20% taxes. + royal mails extortionate £8.00 carriage fee(which would put it near on par with amazons price). Feedback appreciated as I may use these in the future.


Also does anyone know of a place still selling asia resident evil 5 collectors edition with silver steelbook? Thanks.

I got my MGS4 LE (jap) along with a MGS3 subsistence LE, a Document of MGS2, a 20th anniversary MGS1 edition and about 4 other NTSC-J MGS games from ebay for £60....I was the only bidder and was amazed how cheaply I got them.

@ferrari I've never used that company but I know you are more likely to get stung by customs using EMS (in my experience anyway) plus if you use EMS you'll get an extra charge from DHL or whoever the courier is if it is detained by customs, it's more than the £8 that RM charge as well.....Around £14 I think.
