Ok little update about Gecco's Souls of Cinder statue:


japanese price is $417 USD. You can get it from several japanese retailer for under $400 USD (Amiami is selling it $386 USD on preorder). I don't know why, but Gecco decided that the statue would cost $500 out of Japan. That's really odd.
So importing from Japan is a good idea if you want to get it at a decent price.

What's the cost on top of $386 at Amiami for shipping/handling/import costs? Is it high?

i always had customs with amiami, and last time the bloodborne statue exclusive was cheap for 275$, then i think this dark souls statues will be cheap too...

Hmm I never bought from them but this shipping price estimator says $45 USD to ship to canada for a 3 kg item:

Here import charges are 15% of the price of the item + a 7 dollars fee. So about 65 USD of import charges. So it gets pretty expensive, but still cheaper than 500$ + shipping and taxes

Seriously, this statue is a low-blow from Gecco. There is no way that it should be that expensive to get it in North America.
By the way, I don't like it to be laugh in the face. And I feel like that's what Gecco is doing right now. Bull Sh**. Does not makes me want to buy from them again.
I hope they won't do the same thing and screw this up again with the doll from BB and Oscar of Astora.

My Japanese is, well...nonexistent lol. How much is this and how does one purchase? I've yet to figure out how to buy Prime1 Studios stuff outside of Sideshow Collectibles.
