I was lucky enough to be able to pre-order. I didn't realise that GAME had put them up for pre-order until the next day and by then, it was too late. So I hounded them on Twitter and they told me that they'd put the second batch up the next day and they did! I waited until like 2am in the morning, just kept refrshing the page till it popped up. Then Boom! Got my Loot Chest edition! Well, my pre-order.
I will never forget that day. The joy of pre-ordering videogames. |

I think its pretty scummy to see people order 2-3 editions with the intent to sell the surplus, thus making there personal copy FREE....why do you deserve a FREE copy and along the way force people who missed out to pay double or more?.
There are quite a few 2faced members here aswell, i've seen people condemn others for multiple ordering of an edition only to see themselves selling spares of a sold-out game for profit. I don't like people who multi-order, in 99.9% of cases its not for personal collecting. I managed to get this edition with the help of a tip-off from a member here, so i thank them for that. ![]() |

To be self concious and to not want to sell at the going rate could be classed as an honorable thing. However, you are in a minority of people. Consider this - If a person is happy to pay an advertised amount of money for an item, are they really being ripped off? No of course not, nobody wants to be ripped off. Its that they have placed a value on said item that they are happy to pay, so they do.

For very limited CEs the online companies should operate a one per person policy. Why would anybody want to order multiples other than to make a profit or get one for a friend/relative . . .well let them order their own.
The CE would still sell out so there's no loss to the publisher or retailer . . .only the greedy cunts who wanna screw the genuine collector. I still firmly believe that the scalpers caused Konami to change their goalposts on the MGS HD limited steelbook. They were selling it for £80 or whatever and the greed brigade online were making three times that on ebay. Fair deals for all, i say . . . ![]() |
