EBGames AUS just posted on facebook that tomorrow at 12pm (AUS time I presume) they will be relisting some more stock of the Borderlands 2 Loot Chest on their site. Very limited stock though (so I assume it's from cancellations) xx

I was lucky when I pre-ordered my BL2 ULCE for PS3 @ Amazon.fr along with another one for Xbox360 for my brother on the 31st of May.
Three days later, Amazon.fr was out of stock !
And the week after, the edition popped up again... Resellers asking for more than 250€ for it.
I guess it worked for them as now it's out of stock again!

I wonder if games editors/producers don't count on that a little bit for marketing purpose... They propose standard, limited, collector editions for most of their games. Ubisoft is proposing 4 or 5 special editions for AC III !!!
IMO, that kind of feeds the underground collecting business, making goodies rare and valuable, and therefore participating in the reputation/fame/success of their licences.

If it doesn't have a statue, I could careless on getting those special editions. I really think its a BS for die hard collectors who don't have the money to spend. Unless you have a crapload of money who don't give a s*it
