Overwatch D.Va Statue just went up for preorder ( price $450 )
Did ask a costumer support rep. about the material used but he was a bit vague on it ( said plastic and some polystone / same materials as the other statues ? ) .

Agreed. This does not even come close to scaling with the price of the others. Even if you scale up for the size as far as materials and the extra work that goes into them it is not $300 more of a statue then Tracer, Reaper, or Widowmaker.

Based on the size/work difference in comparison to the other this should be maybe $250 (so over priced by about $200).

And yeah not being able to pre-order and pay later is something that should just die out already (at least offer a down payment method or something... heck the down payment method sometime nets you free cash for the people who cannot pay come time to launch so why not do that? who knows).

It looks really good but $450 + no payment plan option + open edition means I'm going to be putting this one off for awhile.

Same here. Reaper still hasn't sold out and it as been shipping for quite awhile. Widowmaker is still up for sale, too.

I'll probably just work on slowly saving up the $450.

And Tracer just keeps getting restocked. As much as I want to have a Tracer - Widowmaker - D.va trio there's really no urgency with these statues.

Yup. Pretty clear Blizzard decided to go the open edition route to make as many people happy as possible.
