Great! The news everyone on SBHunterz has been waiting for! I think most people assumed it was going to be a StickerBook.

Any chance of a photo as evidence? I would do so, but mine is staying sealed...

G-P, I think you mentioned you got 2 copies... by any chance did your 'good' copy get any minor creases or damage? I don't know if I should keep my current copy or re-buy. The creases to mine aren't too bad but its just annoying.

OK, so now we have a clue to the contents...pants, I was rather hopeful of exact same wording...we could be still stuck with just 4K 'real' steelies

edit - where did that post just go? It was a pic of the back of the box and it was missing the word "variant"

I'm taking this as good news - the only thing now is the barcode...we need someone who wasn't in the 4K club to confirm the barcode & contents - then the only thing that might happen (but very unlikely) is that it's a mixed bag (russian roulette - extremely unlikely)

I can only assume zavvi staff are stupid or everything after 4K is stickerbook!?

How about this theory. The 4000 original steelbook packages have been kept in a separate part of the warehouse and they've been sent out to the original 4000 orders.

The stickerbook versions are now being dispatched to the sad saps that were too slow the first time round.

I pray to Miyamoto that i'm wrong.

I still think my initial thoughts are going to work out - They had already comissioned the 4K 'real' steelbooks and price-wise it was little difference to make more real ones than have a whole load of PS3 stickerbooks made to a new design.
The reason X360 is all stickerbook is because it's one design - it was never a 'real' steelie. This is the best case for everyone really, well not X360 owners - I just mean for a collector they might be compelled to get both PS3 versions if one was a sticker.

I just think the biggest clue is that we still have never seen a PS3 sticker yet we've known X360 was a stciker for ~1 week now!
