What's the value of?...

Well the Codex edition was going for £15 brand new late last year from Ubistore, so even though it's probably up in value now, I doubt the codex book is worth much on it's own xx

It was on the UBisoft website in October-ish? Maybe a bit earlier than that actually - they sold out fast though, it was obviously just them trying to shift old stock in time for Revelations coming out.

I was half expecting them to be really damaged or something but surprisingly they were mint and sealed.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news - I guess you paid a lot more than that for a copy xx

I'm sure you've managed to grab some bargains elsewhere though, it's a win some lose some game this collecting business - unfortunately I lose most, since I preorder everything out of fear of missing out, then they all bloody drop in price xx

I am in the same boat...Fortunately eBay helps out most of the time...but I agree pre ordering something is a risk and I am starting to feel the consequences...

Yeah, the other toss of the preordering coin is when you don't bloody bother preordering because you think it won't sell out for a while, then it sells out and it's then up on ebay for 40x the fucking price

Luckily collecting is fun and it's nice getting to watch your collection grow, or else it'd be depressing to do

So many things I've had to pass up lately due to lack of funds (ME artbook, DSU, Dead Island Treasure Edition, etc) so gutting xx
