Yes. It's because they add the free voucher which is classed as a download. It's been done deliberately so that you have to pay immediately.

If you read the T & C it says they will charge the next day if the order is a download. This is why they add the 'free' voucher which you are not able to remove.

I might have missed this somewhere back when this thread started, but is anyone (or several people) doing group preorders for either the Freedom edition and/or Join or Die edition from specific stores in the UK or Europe? Or is everyone just currently doing their own thing?

I'm asking because I may want to get in on it, but I also have the Australian members to look to for help...

I used a credit card and payment was immediate. I reordered the next day with the 10% discount and payment was immediate too. I then called ubisoft to cancel my first order and i must say, I was very impressed with the service. Well done ubisoft!

Tbh i havent looked at the t and c's. I just went through the process in the normal way. I did check that funds were taken though. In a way im happy that they have taken the cash now. It means my items are secured.
