I think he's most upset about the art book he's a huge art book fan and was really looking forward to it but to receive it damaged has probably upset him. He's sending it back for a refund.

By the end of next week....all will be revealed by then I'm sure. Including the Aussie version. This is such a headache, we should get compensation from Zavvi for what they've put us through...especially those who received extremely damaged goods! For shame Zavvi....for shame!!
@Zelda: I have never ever received anything that badly damaged in my online shopping career! I've had bad, but never anything as atrocious at that example. I feel disgusted that these things happen to such beautiful collections. Last edited by Matrix6; 02-02-2012 at 12:23 PM. |

To the people that are complaining about bad packaging; you are not alone.
Obviously, mine aren't as bad as other people's images, but it clearly shows bad packing on both Zavvi's part and Konami's part. I've e-mailed them and I want to see what's going to happen about it. ![]() ![]() |

I'm a bit shocked myself, especially since we've normally had good service from Zavvi, I got both my Zelda Skyward Swords through the post the day before the release day, the LE one could have come in a box but it was in a bubble pack and the hang tab was just slightly bent. I should have realised then.
Mellar, does that sticker say yours has been repacked? It's not what you want is it, you fork out all this money, trust the company to get it to you safely, and especially if you're a sealed collector there's no way you're going to trust that what's inside is flaw free. Even if you're not a sealed collector if you order a CE it's because you're a fan it's not as if you're going to throw away the box you still want it all in good nick. |

It does indeed say that. To be exact, it says 'Repacked by Yodel'. If people are sealed collectors then they should really be worried about the conditions inside the box because as seen on quite a few occasions, including yours, the cardboard containers just rip under the weight of the artbook. |

That is Yodel, they treat packages very bad, I have seen it first hand at their depot.
It truly is terrible, I got my copy today, seriously damaged aswell. Now I have to send back via something called Collect+. Somehow I knew it was going to arrive damaged but ohwell. |

Just got mine, the packaging wasn't too bad, a few minor dents on the actual box and the parts holding the artbook were a bit ripped, also nothing was sealed, so I didn't have the option to not unseal it.
I got a steelbook, and I was not one of the original 4000, also I didn't get MGS4. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Overall, I'm pretty happy with it! |

According to user reviews, Yodel are the worst courier service. Zavvi must have chosen them because of how cheap they must be to deliver the packages. There's another point against Zavvi's name. |
