Yeah I preorder this but I cancel because I don't think I could afford the shipping

Shipping for this should be same as for any other figurine, which is around 2500 Yen for EMS.

I paid 5000 yen for EMS shipping for an item that could of fit in a SAL box because the site wanted to put in a ridiciously huge box[and the stuffing protection took about 60% of the box anyway] It was so ridiciously and because of that I'm hella broke since I didn't expect shipping to take that much[figure was expensive enough as it is]. It was a 1/8 scale figure so I didn't understand why the put in such a huge box

So that's £2.92 + £7.24 = £10.16
Not sure if Fate will cost exactly that but it's an indication.
And £2.92 for P&H would be really cheap for a direct company distribution compared to any US companies!
Eeeh? I don't get it. The retail price of the game is 39.99, that's the price everyone are paying. They don't charge you £40 plus additional £7 of tax, so what's the problem? Or am I missing something here?

We will have to wait for the prices to be confirmed, Taxes shouldn't be charged but it depends on if you are inside the European Union.

That's how I was charged when i ordered something from them last year, I have no idea how it works Could it be because I'm outside Europe??

The thing is, the game costs £39.99, not £33.33, whether you are inside or outside EU. So you didn't actually pay more than EU residents. At least not £7+ more.

Look, that's the checkout when you choose UK address:

And that is when you choose Australia:

So the difference in tax is less than £0.5

All I was pointing out was that I've never come across an additional "Tax" whenever I order anything in Europe before, and so far Ghostlight are the only one who have charged me that. Over all it wasn't too bad for me as I took it as if the shipping cost is around £10, which is much cheaper than what they charge in the US for an LE game of any sort. I can't really complain, but most of the online stores I order from Europe [mainly UK] offer free shipping which I'm used to now.

They didn't charge you additional tax. They just showed you how much of the catalogue price is the game itself and how much is VAT.
A lot of shops do this, for example amazon.uk does that too.
Everytime you buy something in EU you pay VAT (it's already included in the final price) it's just that usually shops don't list it down seperately during checkout.
