Gears of War 3 Limited & Epic Edition announced

Fans have now a reason to be happy: Gears of War 3 is getting his very own Collector's Edition.
gamepur states that two different versions will be available on release date. A Limited Edition and an Epic Edition.

The Limited Edition can be purchased at a price of £59.99. The Epic Edition is with a price of £99.99 slightly more expensive.

For those who pre-order their copy through select retailers can look forward to a three week beta access starting April 25.

Nice find. Gears of War 3 will be one of the biggest releases of the year, so I'm looking forward to these editions.

I'm getting the Limited Edition definitely. Epic edition is a bit pricey and I'm sure it will be something huge (like Halo Reach Legendary) so they won't even ship it to Croatia. :/

This is just the beginning. I'm pretty sure we get to hear much more about this game and Edition's when release date approach.

It also seems that these two versions are only available in the UK and we all know that Microsoft would never leave NA without any special release so I have no doubts that there is coming more

They never said that this is a UK only release.

Ah you're right, the only difference is the Beta access. UK retailers are only giving the beta with LE and EE though and in NA you just need to pre-order the retail game.

- Flaming Sawed-Off Shotgun
Complete one match during the week of May 2 to permanently unlock.
- Flaming Gnasher Shotgun
Complete one match during the week of May 9 to permanently unlock.
- Beta Tester Medal -- Wear it proudly, Gear.
Complete one match in the Beta to permanently unlock.
- Thrashball Cole -- Unlock Thrashball Cole to play as Augustus Cole as he was before Emergence Day -- a legendary Thrashball athlete known for his ferocious, flamboyant style.
Complete 50 matches in any game type to unlock for the Beta period.

Another update for you although small. Game.co.uk have chnaged the Artwork and image of each editions. they say they are not final but promo only, but I would say they are close to the final finish.

If these are the final images, they it looks like they the planning on having a similar situation of Halo Reach, the large one could have a figurine or maybe even collection of characters. Can't imagine a replica gun, not at £99 anyway.

If they are using the EA's dictionary, a "replica" gun is totally possible

A group figure of all the Gears would be sweet. Just like Halo Reach.
