The Limited Collector’s Edition of Forza Motorsport 4 comes in a SteelBook case in an art-box and includes a copy of “Cars of Forza Motorsport 4 Presented by Top Gear,” a 96-page volume written by the editors at Top Gear featuring imagery both from Forza 4 and from Top Gear’s photo library, as well as a set of vinyl stickers featuring the logos of Forza Motorsport 4, Top Gear and Turn 10. History:
Several retailers in the US over-sold their allotment of pre-orders of the Limited Collector’s Edition resulting in many who pre-ordered not receiving a copy. Best Buy offered those effected the option of downgrading their pre-order to the standard edition and offering a $20 gift card to make up the difference in price between the Standard Edition and Limited Collector’s Edition. Walmart instead refunded everyone who ordered but did not receive the Limited Collector’s Edition and as an apology also sent a free copy of the standard edition to those effected in addition to a bonus code for an additional car.
