okay, does anyone have this?...i mean it says it was only available in Germany, but i now have a UK PAL one with a green triangle on the case and full english text all around it, please can someone confirm the release of this in which ever region, thanks.

  2. twistedsymphony:
do you have any pictures of yours? that would probably help...

  3. silverfuze:
    Nope, no USK logo, I would have noticed that huge thing straight away, it has the UKV code on the back and a green triangle on the side, this usually indicates a UK released game on most Nintendo Games, here are some pictures below;

  4. Gemini-Phoenix:
Well this is certainly new to me! I've never seen or heard of such a CE for this game, so not sure where this one crept from. I presume it was exclusively available from one retailer rather than widely released?

And yes, that copy you have there is indeed a UK release. No doubt about it. Green Triangle plus UKV code and full English box = UK release.

If you don't mind me asking, where did you obtain it? eBay? Or did you buy it from an online retailer / high street store?

  5. gurpswoo1:
Ok I didn't see anything relating to a UK version so went straight to the source. Ubishop.

And guess what they have a PEgi version listed for £19.99

It doesn't come up in google so you have to directly look for it, the reason I didn't pick this up before I made the database entry.

Is because the word "edition" is missing, it only says: "Raving Rabbids - Travel in Time Collector" it's even missing the "S" at the end of Collector.

Thanks for heads up silverfuze, I will update the listing and have order a copy aswell. Did you also get it from the ubishop aswell

  6. silverfuze:
no problem gurps, i actually tried to contact you on sgh, i sent you a pm there about this, but you know now, so it's okay, I didnt get this from ubishop, i actually handpicked mine from HMV near me, it was also only £15, not £19.99, maybe it's worth taking a look if your ever near a HMV and g-p, speaking of sgh, why aren't you there anymore, if you dont mind me asking?..

  7. gurpswoo1:
Hmmmmm - HMV, I will have a browse tomorrow.

    Thanks

  8. gurpswoo1:
Looks like you can get the limited edition online at HMV aswell for just £10.99,

See here: HMV Raving Rabbids time LTD

I didn't see it because it has LTD instead of Limited Edition.

  9. silverfuze:
Actually you can't, I ordered it online about 3-4 weeks ago and the entire time it just says "awaiting stock allocation", so when I chanced upon it in Town yesterday, I decided to buy it there and cancelled my order online. It says 5-8 days with good reason, chances are, you will order this and never hear anything from them and end up cancelling as I did. If you want, I can check to see if they have any more copies in my nearest HMV's, since there are 2 within 5 minutes of each other and they are huge stores, so if anyone wants me to check for them, just PM me.

  10. gurpswoo1:
^ That pretty poor service by HMV, Oh well.

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it. But I think I will order a copy from Ubishop as I want to get some other items from them aswell. Hopefully it turns up ok.

    Again thanks for offer.

  11. Gemini-Phoenix:
That's some pretty bad product labelling by both Ubisoft and HMV! No wonder this has skipped under the radar!

Yea, I spotted it says: "Availability: usually dispatched in 5 to 8 days" on the HMV site. I think I will just order directly from Ubisoft and hope that what they send me is a UK version

    EDIT:

I just ordered it from the Ubishop. Hopefully they'll package it well and won't arrive squashed.

I'll also contact Ubisoft via Twitter to inform them that their webpage isn't displaying the title correctly, and hope they're able to fix that

  12. Gemini-Phoenix:
You may also wish to change the release date for the UK version on the listing, as it reads 25th of November 2011 which would mean it's not out yet. I believe this should be 2010

  13. Gemini-Phoenix:
Just confirming that I received mine the other day, and it is indeed the K PAL version with green triangle as shown above.

Not really a lot to it to be honest, just the game and a figurine, but still nice to have for any Wii collector as there aren't too many CE's available for the Wii compared to the PS3 & X360

  14. silverfuze:
yea, i agree, the wii has almost no notable special editions, whereas every other ps3/xbox360 game gets a special edition just for the fun of it... how many wii games do you have now gemini and how many of those are special editions?.. i dont know if you saw my post on sgh, but i concentrated my collection to wii now...

At last count, between 80-90, of which I believe about 15-20 are some kind of special edition or non-standard edition
