Release Date: March 22, 2013

Cool package but what's so special about a 17th anniversary?

I mean I guess 6 is out now so capcom must release a Japanese only anthology edition?

Cool, but i can't say this is really quite a great edition, it would've been more interesting if the older Resident Evil games were not just downloads, and i don't know but the package looks terrible.

it looks like a repackaging in a new outerslip box and nothing more..even has greatest hits versions of the game...PASS.

I don't get Capcom. First releasing multiple revision on the same game SFIV>SSFIV>SSFIV Arcade Edition. Next they place locked DLC on disc and make you purchase them individually. Now this. Seems like they want to milk every franchise. :nono:

I think you can see Super Street Fighter IV - Arcade Edition more as a expansion, since it came out as DLC for Super Street Fighter IV. With the SNES the exact same thing happened though. So especially with the Street Fighter series it has been always quite like that.

But do agree on me, the 25th Anniversary Edition from Street Fighter is actually quite amazing, but releasing this new Resident Evil collection seems just so pointless because they just released not a while ago the 15th anniversary edition.
