If its any condolence to you the OP mentioned directly the concern about the eyes and he says that in pictures they may look cross eyed but in person they are not. He said its just tough to get a perfect angle of the characters faces.

well i understand you may of had good intentions but just list it in the marketplace

and below ebay pricing is a flimsy term it is not comparable really, ebay fluctuates, rrp is the standard for every item if you paid more cancel and get a refund, the new market is not the fair one because they have sold out

Publishers who invest money by giving studios a loan for a game to be made. They use data from launch window sales to judge whether the next investment is a good business decision or not. Mostly what i am talking about is whether a certain game gets a sequel or not. But obviously when investing in new IPs the publisher or company investing will look at the studios past history as a whole.

Companies who invest in these games want the game to pay for itself and make the targeted amount of profit within the first month month or two of its release (this is usually where over 2/3 of what the game will ever sell happens... usually more then 2/3, some games have legs though).

It happened to me before, seemed my CC card had been replaced since ordering the game and so when they charged I lost my pre-order, I tried talking to them but it's pointless - takes forever and it's like they don't care...I suggest people email the ceo of game (some googling will help you), but I'm beginning to think there's a big shortage of ellie edition :(

I will see if I can get any joy from game myself and if I can help I will ask for order nos.

Game packed the Ellie Edition in a box with a lot of air bubble padding. Tesco shipped the Joel Edition in a cardboard envelope with no padding whatsoever. Therefore the box is slightly squashed. For all of Game's issues, at least all of their stuff is packaged properly - I also received Ellie yesterday so ahead of time.

I take back what I said previously about this statue. This does actually look nicer than the Max Payne statue, and looks pretty good for an item that comes with a game. Usually statues that come with game SE's and LE's are pretty crap (like the Drake statue with Uncharted 3). I'd like to pick it up, but I still think it's too expensive here locally.

Just went to check the pictures and it does indeed say collector's edition, not PPE so sure it's a different edition ;)

Asian edition is hard to tell as it's so sporadically distributed across many smaller countries

Hmm in my opinion its quite limited considering it's a standard retail CE and for a major game

Dead Space 3 CE was 5000 and that game wasn't nearly as good

Although I actually preferred that CE to tell the truth, yes yes I realize how terrible a person that must make me

TLoU as a game is obviously far better

For perspective the ACII Black Edition was limited to 50,000 and that's not considered quite :quote:rare:quote:

So we're looking at 200-500 with all likelihood being in the 300 range.

I'm not too sure which other countries got it but the numbers for South East Asia/HK/Taiwan are in low hundreds range.

Many shops here did not get any copies and those who did got 1-2 only. My friend in HK said the preorders were sold out in 1 day.

The other big countries like Japan/Korea/China did not get it. That doesn't leave many more countries.

If there are more then they messed up the supply somewhere.

Those statues go for ridiculous price at ebay @ moment, so grab yours while its still availabe. Statue alone is priced 99eur in Europe and its quite limited so act fast if you want one.

Bought and unboxed mine today. Some finnish Gamestops still have this in stock. Statue is stunning and gs employees say this is very very limited item. Just call your local gs and maybe they can locate some stock. Dont trust blindly to websites.
