The statue is even packed in exactly same cardboard box wich comes with PPE. Only PPE sleeve is missing from this edition. The box itself even has even the same places for game & etc so its the same as ppe without the game / extras.

Thought as much to be honest

Triforce isn't going to make new packing materials for the statues

Although from the sound of it they only released a small amount in total

Thought it was going to be like a regular ubisoft statue release.....

Yea, its actually very good quality statue. Yes these are actually very limited and the demand for LOU items is very big. I have never been interested about gaming statues etc memorabilia, but this is a exception. I'm very happy that i was able to get this item without paying those ridiculous ebay prices. I'm actually quite proud to be owner of my first and last game statue :)

Lucky too as Triforce (the statue maker) has been known to do less than ideal work when it comes to status

shall i head to Ebay and purchase it for 300 $ ? or there is a hope it will get back instock on game stop ?
im afraid i wait more and it only get more expensive and it never gets back in stock considering naugty dog already announced this edition was made in very small quantities ?

Well it's limited to 5,000 and is completely sold out at gamestop. Sorry ebay is the only option really.

I made a big mistake letting go of my Uncharted Explorer to a friend way way back thinking I would pick one up some other time...

Took me about 2 years and way more money and was grateful to Patfus for help in then end...

Although the skeptic in me thinks they would have numbered them if this was the case, the statues at the very least, did they number them?

i was just asking cos Uncharted 3 the collectors edition had the same head start then now its on amazon for 45$ but the hype over the last of us and how naughty dog said its really limited hence it was only available to gamestop made me afraid to wait and miss the chances of snatching a sealed one yet ...

actually i was kind of very touched by this game ... its always been a dream to me to have a little girl but i was never lucky to get married .. so this game really touched something big inside me and i want to have this whole edition to crown my great memory of playing this master piece ...

yea ill still pay another 60-80 $ shipping and customs but its ok actually i sold all my ps3 games and old collector's edition to get this one .. this game is like no other i ever played and im 33 years old so it was really worth the sacrifice ...

i understand their aint any official statement from naughty dog that states this is limited to 5000 pieces and their is a great probability it would really be back in stock .. but i believe love is in the eye of the lover .. which means if you love something and owned it at last i dont believe it would matter with you how much you offered in exchange ... being together is what matters most ...

Personally I was just a little annoyed when a CE I buy goes bargain bin assuming I bought it at full price

The US CE for Uncharted 3 for instance could easily be found 2 years later or so for less than half price

But if something is worth what you pay for it then I don't suppose being able to get it for half the cost down the road should really make you regret your purchase

i would be in an extreme total loss here if it got back for 170$ :) ... but huhh .. i think every body is destined to meet whats written for him ....
i just sold the infamous 2 the one that had the bag for around 200$ .. and i had it since day one of its release for 99$ so that was a good example of a collectors edition that never lost its value ... i kinda of think that last of us will even cross uncharted popularity and it would be naughty dog fleur de lis ...
