Simply because it wouldnt be useful. Yes, I wanted to have there almost every item including Pks, promo and preorder stuff, but I think nobody cares.

I would be with the amount of AC collectors there are.

lots of people would care and would use that catalog dan
but it can`t be done
ubisoft do not know what they licece
they are becoming like sanrio with hello kitty, granted on a much smaller scale, but it`s started and when that starts thereds no reigning it in
they let people buy the rights to produce items as long as the people producing the items agree to certain ground rules

whats doplnky?
is that press and promo
and whats kohny is that books?
also apparel or clothing
and there would need to be alot of categories
for example
categories like ac1 ac2 acb acr ac3 acl acbloodlines
then some pre orders would fallinto both steelbooks and pre order and ac3

Doplnky and promo is stuff like clothing, necklases, press things and stuff like that.
I planned these categories. There had to be these AC1.....AC3 categories in every single part of it, like categories in preorder and categories in CEs

My blog will eventually have all of my collection on it, just haven't got the time to do it all yet haha XD

promo and clothing/ jewelry should be seperate
but there should be 2 ways of viewing the site
as some people would want every steelbook so your categories are great
but somepeople would want to view everything for ac3
and in you proposed method they would have to view multiple pages

Yup, Allan is off work all this week so I'll be able to get more pics taken (since he can watch AJ whilst I take pics), so I'll hopefully be able to get a start on my intro thread in a week or two.
The collection section of my blog will come later though, as I'm waiting until I get my new laptop (for my 21st) so I can actually make it into a full site instead of just a blog (as I cannot code/design for shit on a Mac) xx

im going to end up using a scanner as apposed to a camera
as for the new technology speak..
as i have mentioned before im doing a virtual museum in my spare time.. turns out i can run unreal tournament via a browser.. I know the basics of modding the unreal games using the SDK so in theory i can make a virtual museum using the unreal engin that you could run off a website.. give or take a few issues like texture size

Yeah, I was planning something like that, but I wont finish that.

does unreal havve on the fly loading like assassins creed
ie once it loads you in it detects which way you are headed and loads it before you get there
and de loads things as you get to far away?
or will it work like a on live game where everything is servers side pre loaded?
kittychloe

not sure i would have to look into it
all games use a draw distance which is a custom setting in each game
ac loads things in segments, like how most games work
take Jerusalem in ac 1, that was split in to 3 districts, the game would load an entire district and nothing else, similar to how online games work but they have to compensate for all the other players and enemies all spawning and dieing

I run a little website called collectorsedition.org maybe you guys have seen it?
it started off as a database of my DVD collection so I could keep track of which movies I hadn't watched yet: http://www.web-nine.com/collections/dvds/
