I mean since it became sold out, no longer was actually sold by Attakus! The last year is back available but only for a site failure. This is what communicated following the same Attakus! In reality never came available! :-)

i knew a guy from the states who collected statues, I just asked him and he found one in a local hobby shop! They had number 11! Nobody wanted to buy it there cause it was a shithole apperently... and they don't do ebay :) So I did an offer and and I was the owner of the most amazing AC statue in the world :p
It's still shipping though but I trust them, my friend bought statues more then once there :)

I payed like a 1000 dollars in total... but that includes shipping and import taxes from the US to Europe. I am so lucky for getting a statue like that for like 800dollars. That's actually impossible these days... and it's number 11!! Dafuck!!

I attended NYCC yesterday to do some meet and greets as well as pick up a few things. Stopped by to visit Todd McF and saw the new AC figures line. Unfortunately they weren't selling the figures early at NYCC. I was surprised to see a total package re-design as well.

950 is actually quite a lot for something of that size. So not that limited but it gives most AC fans an opportunity to get it. Most people who really want it could have saved up for it.

About the connor statue. I had the chance to buy one... but I refused.
They say it's numbered (only on the box) but there is no certificate or serial plate on the statue. Also the company is very strange (purearts) with an official website that is down for months, strange e-mail, not much details,...

I avoid things I don't like, and I don't like all the different scales of statues and for a long time I didn't like statues at all

Anyway, I didn't realise Ezio's Fury is sold out now. Came procrastinating on that, it's sold out now lol. I'll wait for 1 at retail price to add it to my collection.

The crouching Altaïr is a story I will never understand...
About the ezio's fury, not only the amount of pieces makes a statue wanted or rare. The detail is amazing, the pose is epic, tsume is a very popular company nowadays, sold out, not easily found on the internet, and so on...

It was still not very easy to find so prices stayed around the 150-300 euros range. Until.... someone or some people made a Crouching Altair sell for $5k on eBay. Prices been crazy ever since..

It's supposed to be the pack with the lithograph; I got two tracking numbers but one is supposedly 200g heavier than the other according to the UPS page so I'm hoping they haven't screwed up and it's included since it's showing as sold out now.

I don't know if I've ever even seen the option on Ubishop for speedier delivery, if I have I've probably ignored it because they post everything by UPS, I don't mind waiting an extra day when I can track it and know it's still coming.

I'm curious to see the lithograph in real life though considering there's almost no information on the site about it.
Even saying that, it could be postcard-sized and I won't complain, I'd have been getting both figures anyway so an exclusive extra thrown in, which has already sold out and so might be slightly hard to find is a good thing in my books. :)

they are the only TWO positions that the bases line up / align
it is possible to position them so that they both face the same way but the distance between the 2 figures is large and it ruins the dynamic of the pose because the bases are so big and the figures come pre attached to the bases, so over all, i am not ecstatic about this diorama, i prefered the edward black beard positions, the way we can swap the figures over and rotate them freely on the bases

Both of mine arrived just there, I actually prefer the way these ones are as far as a diorama goes tbh, the BF ones were too close together for my liking because it was a circle and so you couldn't see them all that well when they're both fighting for the limelight; I like that these ones are in a line so they'd look better on a shelf imo although it would've been nice to be able to see the front of both at the same time.

Now to see what the lithograph's like tomorrow though. :)

They look the same.. But I think if you loot at the bottom they are different.. :)

I have the original AC 2 White and the Revelations and at them just stand what game from.. Then the reproduction I have of the ac 2 black and the brotherhood, the game from stands and then also Ubicollectibles.. So guess that the difference.. :)

First, on topic: the new McFarlane Series 3 figures have been out in my neck of the woods. Only 3/5 so far, Arno, Altair, Ezio. I didn't pick up any yet, which leads me to this:

Have some of you lost the 'spark' for AC now after the Unity fiasco? I am an AC diehard. All of my close friend know this. Day one every year it's like a ritual for me, buy the game at midnight, along with the guide, any art book, any LE console bundle, one of a kind art works, statues, shoes (yes, shoes), if it's AC, I own it.

This is the first year since the series started that I did not buy any AC game on launch. When chatting with friends the past couple days, they were floored, I've been asked "what's wrong with you?!" as they know I celebrate 'Assassin's Creed' day with parties, cake, etc. (see: http://i.imgur.com/SyCyz.jpg)

The main reason... every damn year I've been burned by ubi. I buy the games day one, there are boatloads of bugs (AC3 gun swap and notification errors, AC:BF unable to 100% side missions) that are patched, months later. So people get the game on sale for half price AND get a functioning/working game. Plus I just didn't trust ubi with the embargo on reviews, and the 900p resolution on PS4 comments a little while back. That really left a sour taste in my mouth. And because of all of this, I have not purchased a single piece of merch for AC Unity or Rogue. No figures, no Titan LE book, no games, nothing.

I am not going to be suckered again.

I'm not in the same boat as you regarding the bugs and such because I usually don't get to play them until at least the GOTY edition is already out or something, and by then its usually fixed, but I DO understand your frustration with the developer of your favorite franchise seeming to only be after the quick dollar and not the hearts (and wallets) of their die-hard fans - Nintendo has been doing this a lot lately too, especially with this amiibo fiasco and US CEs. I feel your pain bud, but darn if those cupcakes don't look great! :thumb:

I do understand all of your comments, and since the same thing pretty much happened to watch dogs i can also understand why people in general were meh about this release, or should i say some had no hope for a great release. At the same time, these things still don't bother me as much as they maybe should as there will always be glitches, and with the market the way it is it seems a lot of games are being released like this.

Then again, this could be because i take my time with the games, regardless of how much i am enjoying them, so by the time i reach a part of the game with problems a patch is usually out of it already. I can say Unity is the reason i switched to pc gaming, as the issues with current gen consoles (and no backwards compatibility) as well as possible resolution issues were not what i wanted. I've also found that i am not bothered by rogue in the slightest, i've watched all the cutscenes on youtube and found the game in general to be a disappointment. I am now rambling...

Just did an unboxing on the ACU CE. Not bad really. Statue is very good, even the face is "okay" (not terrible). Sadly it was low light but I could still see it decently (been rainy here what seems like forever).

It's extremely unfortunate circumstance, one that ubi created. Every year the same thing happens ad nauseam. Game comes out, I pay full price for the CE and LE guide, plus any extras, season pass, etc. Numerous glitches right out of the game, such as the notification and gun swap error from AC3. It took them TWO MONTHS to fix it, long past when I 100% the game, so it was pointless. Those too bugs were maddening, switching your weapons every zone, and every time you fast traveled the same five notifications popped up. Then AC:BF. Same scenario. Worst glitch was one where it didn't track stats properly so you could not complete 100% of the abstergo missions. I 100% the game as a whole though to date I have not unlocked every cheat, because the game isn't counting my stats, even post patch.

When AC3 came out I had a spreadsheet of everything I was buying. The LE game, LE guide, LE art book, Vita console bundle with liberation, all of the graphic novels, two art pieces from the Rock the Vote auction, and even the Adidas AC sneakers. Now this year. "we can't put women in our game". What? You've done it for years. "We don't want a console war". What? No other developer has an issue with 1080p on PS4 and having a lower resolution on the xbone. Then the glitches... have you seen them?! They're 10x than any prior, they're game breaking! $100 USD macrotransactions, DLC from soda, shaving cream, email lists, action figures, season pass... and all for what, a game that doesn't even work after a two week delay?! Oh way... no one knew that because of the embargo ubi enforced. That right there was an obvious sign not to pick up my preorder. And now I'm off to enjoy Destiny...

I figured what better thread to chat with fellow AC fans than here.

First, on topic: the new McFarlane Series 3 figures have been out in my neck of the woods. Only 3/5 so far, Arno, Altair, Ezio. I didn't pick up any yet, which leads me to this:

Have some of you lost the 'spark' for AC now after the Unity fiasco? I am an AC diehard. All of my close friend know this. Day one every year it's like a ritual for me, buy the game at midnight, along with the guide, any art book, any LE console bundle, one of a kind art works, statues, shoes (yes, shoes), if it's AC, I own it.

This is the first year since the series started that I did not buy any AC game on launch. When chatting with friends the past couple days, they were floored, I've been asked "what's wrong with you?!" as they know I celebrate 'Assassin's Creed' day with parties, cake, etc. (see: http://i.imgur.com/SyCyz.jpg)

The main reason... every damn year I've been burned by ubi. I buy the games day one, there are boatloads of bugs (AC3 gun swap and notification errors, AC:BF unable to 100% side missions) that are patched, months later. So people get the game on sale for half price AND get a functioning/working game. Plus I just didn't trust ubi with the embargo on reviews, and the 900p resolution on PS4 comments a little while back. That really left a sour taste in my mouth. And because of all of this, I have not purchased a single piece of merch for AC Unity or Rogue. No figures, no Titan LE book, no games, nothing.

I am not going to be suckered again.

Admittedly, this means nothing really. Syndicate could prove to be a rushed mess, and that would kill the franchise.

I totaly agree Matt. I was a die hard fan too. But after ac4 I kinda lost the feeling. Ac4 black flag was amazing though. Unity was great graphics and details... but with the modern
stort completly gone I felt like the devs didn't know where to go anymore.
You know, since the desmond story ended I felt like ubisoft got lost, no inspiration no more. The event that had been
build up since ac1 was over, the climax was reached...

Same for the collectors editions : The black and white edition were epic at the time. The brotherhood codex edition was something completly different. The revelations animus edition yet again was something completly different. But then they started the freedom edition and kept repeating the same formula over and over again -> 4-5 editions with specific items for each. They repeated this with black flag, unity and now syndicate. I'm just not hyped for these edition anymore. Before they reveal them, you already now what it's going to be. A box with the theme of the game, a plastic made in china figure, map, steelcase, litho's, artbook, ... For once or twice, I can live with that, but for fuck sake put some originality in your CE's!!!
It's something you see in the games they make too. People even call it the ubisoft formula. They use it in every game like farcry and watch dogs. A map, full with stuff, areas with outposts, linear story and hundreds of useless sidequests. The same formula we see very year.

That's why I just collect the premium statues like the ezio's fury, edward resin, attakus ezio and connor
premium. They are every time totaly different, epic and rare. They are ORIGINAL!

I hope they get back on track... but after seeing syndicate I fear the worst. Let's be honest ac fans... the era of AC has been over since ac3 (except black flag). It's hard, but it's the truth :/

I can't help but agree with the Desmond theory! While playing as ezio I imagined a future AC in the modern world, running round as Desmond in a massive futuristic environment. That'll never happen now.

I admire that they've removed a single entity, and opened up the possibility to theoretically style your own character, yet we're still only limited to whatever lifeless character they give us.

Edward, to me, never earnt his assassin rights, and it feels as though the recent characters haven't had quite the same effort into their story as ezio did.

The Edward/blackbeard and Arno/else dioramas are awful quality, but the collectors edition items, although cheap, are of a reasonable quality.

If rather less cards, cds, music boxes books etc, and a bit more quality on the statues tbh.

The witcher 3 CE is a prime example of what I'd want from an AC CE.

The attakus one is indeed amazing. I got an artist's proof edition (12/20 made). Best statue of AC their is for me.

The statues is the collectors editions are indeed better then the seperate ones. Still, I stick to the premium ones because of space and quality. I like to give money, if I got quality in return. I don't have that feeling when I get an ac CE. It's like I spend a lot of money on 20 pieces of junk.

I'm a fan of the witcher. I played the second one and now I pre ordered the premium edition of the third instalment. This game got a 10 out of 10 on gamespot (I trust gamespot, they give good reviews).
If you look on how original, innovative and unique that game is, then I question AC even more.

I can agree on black flag, that it was more of a pirate game in terms of gameplay. On the other side, I still felt that I was playing an ac game. You were involved in the observatory, you got a lot of contact with other assassin's, you're enemies were templars. In the end you really understood the creed and became an assassin. But that's not the reason I love black flag. The reason why is because it was innovative, original etc... It felt like they were back on track. If the next game (unity) pulls you down again, then you lose your trust in the series. Do this a couple times... and the franchise colapses. That's what's happening now I think.


When did this began? Well, you could say at AC3. They started to make that game after ac brotherhood in 2011. That was the moment they kicked out (or left) Patrice Desilets, the inventor of AC. I think that was a crucial moment for the series in a negative way. It was very clear he was the mastermind behind the series. Since he left, the only thing that was important was money. When Patrice left, the passion left (not with everyone but mostly) and the money stepped in.

You think in 2018 we will see a game set in 2100? When the games used to pride themselves on being somewhere towards the historical representations or a small time slice of the period that they were delicting

Since Patrice new game was announced/revealed about a month ago a lot of people have begin putting the pieces together that jade Raymond went on maternity leave about the same time that Patrice was no longer part of the studio (I chose that wording to be unbiased about his leaving /pushed out) and the release of brotherhood.
Perhaps all of these things are coincidence, perhaps they are all related and crucial individual reasons for the drastic changes seen in assassins creed or perhaps it is fans of the early games clutching at straws trying to find blame in something that is becoming stale.
I am drawn some what towards the latter as we get further away from acb:s release, not many are playing it and it is growing stronger in there minda as they reminisce on it and gloss over the bad to only remember the good

Also the PureArts guy JP mentioned to me that "something else big" is coming from them in the assassins world later this year. He hinted that it rivals the Connor Premium which is tied for favorite in my collection with McFarlane Edward, Crouching Altair and the rarest Attakus Ezio proof which I was fortunate enough to source only earlier this year. I just can't decide which I like best but get cheer from viewing them each day and I also credit this forum and the great members here for helping me to collect these.

It is out. I do not think US can buy from the Ubi Collectables store. I never can access it when I have tried... Ubi does not even let their home country of Canada buy from them... just Europe for some crazy reason.


But there are other site that carry the statues and ship internationally.

EDIT: Noticed Forbidden Planet says the release (shipped to retailers at least) is the 20th but UbiShop says it's the 3rd, wonder if that's what the problem is. I do remember that on UbiShop the releases were quite a bit later, closer to the 20th actually before I got the surprise of the bronze one shipping and it changed on their site to the 3rd.

EDIT 2: Can finally stop worrying and whinging! :P Just got shipping confirmation for my normal one! :D (Now just to wait for the next one/two, haha.)

The normal one is really nice, nice detail and a good size, face is better than most AC figures so far.
Heh, don't quite fully get the need for a removable base. (Maybe some legs physical DLC later knowing Ubi :P).

The bronze one kind of sucks compared to the normal tbh, the detail isn't great and it all blends in together, ends up being quite hard to make out anything about it and from a distance it just looks like a painted bronze lump of an assassiny person.

If you were only to get one the normal is definitely way better.


As for a full line, it's Ubi so I fully expect a full line over time tbh, don't see them letting an opportunity for more figures and cash to slip by them.

Thanks for that early update :)...But I must say that the info about the lithos was there from the beginning in specs section (well, At least here in Ubishop UK). But for both the figures, it was given as getting Jacob's litho. I was disappointed and thought I would sell one, but happy there will be two and it was a mistake and still stays same on website.

Yup, that's the one that is listed as a reward that I need a few more people to sign up for an US account (or just use their already existing account to sign up for the promo program)-- I believe the site said that "you won't find this anywhere else", so likely its an exclusive to that.

Also, they just added up 175k AC "pins" -- not really sure what those are, but I'm shooting for that clock! Thanks Flatty, you get 10,000 just for signing up and you should get another 3,000 for using my referral link. I'm supposed to get another 3,000 as well, but haven't seen any others yet - opened a case with Ubisoft, but its likely I won't get anything back in time.

Also, Romeo, the 3 ways are by visiting the website as frequently as you can (you get +250 every 12hrs or so, and they used to have read an article for +500 I think as well), referrals, and winning on the spin. I've never struck anything over +1000 on the spin until yesterday when I got 3 of the rare guys and got a whopping +3000... someone said they won 100,000 from the spin, so I guess its possible - just have no idea how! :shrug:

Also, you can preorder from more than one place different editions and get +10,000 from each of those.

Edit: and yeah, got a whooping 1225 points from today's spin. I really hate that thing with a passion!

I've had about 11 sign up in total and only 2 emails and 2 sets of corresponding coins. I think I solved the mystery though and opened a case with Ubisoft regarding it -- they're looking into it now, but it seems if someone clicks on your link and then clicks "login" at the top BEFORE clicking on the "register now" at the bottom of the page that you DO NOT get credit for it even if they get the bonus 3,000 coins. I'm missing at least 9 registrations for it now and that would be enough to put me over the 200k -- now I need to go and somehow prove to Ubisoft that all these people registered though :banghead:

I think they should've made a sturdy resin or metal realistic rendition of the cane sword (as opposed to that cheap plastic Halloween prop currently sold at Gamestop) and had that be the 200k prize. Lol... I suppose. The contest points are technically worthless so any prize for them is pretty awesome. But I should point out this was not a prize one, this one was given as a gift to a partner of Ubisoft. In any case value and how desirable it might be is based on an individual basis... so really only diehard fans and collectors would even try for it on the contest side of things. From what I gather though you would have to have saved all your points and on top of that gotten very lucky a couple times at the spin to win game just to get enough points... as you said it would not be worth getting tons of people to sign up as that would take forever and be about impossible.

But yeah it is subjective on whether you like it or not (I personally think it is really cool, I am sucker for statue type promotional items).

Yeah, a real canesword would be cool (a resin replica would be terrible though as resin in a thin structure like that would be very easy to break and also would warp over time).

Well guess what?! Someone over there FINALLY responded to my last request this afternoon and rewarded me 21,000 points which pushed me over the limit. I go to the reward site as soon as i possibly could, click on the clock to redeem my hard earned points (never got more than 3k on the spin) and I'm greeted with...

200,000 make believe points compared to $200+ real world dollars just because the recruit system was broken and Customer Service was slow and dodgy is why he is upset.

Yeah, that's exactly what I did. Sent them another email explaining the situation (though I had explained to them all along in the history the "urgency" of the matter). That's why I said I'm not holding my breath that they'll follow through though. I mentioned the fact that they usually have "overstock"or extras for replacement purposes and that I wasn't asking for "special treatment" but just to get what I legitimately "earned".

You know, I too did referrals and never got the points the site assured I would. Had I gotten the points, I would have been able to redeem the Assassin's Creed Syndicate poster. As it is, it didn't work out, and I've moved on from it. I have points and all I used them to get were the DLC codes.

Its strange that the Rewards site still offers new activities and yet no new rewards. Perhaps the points from Join the Family will roll over into next year's?

First one with the clear stands are the McFarlane action figures. They usually don't come with stands.

Second ones, the tiny steel ones were part of a Russian AC Brotherhood collectors edition.

Third ones are the Heroclix.

Statues are inbound for Nikolai Orelov, Arbaaz Mir, and Shao Jun, release date purportedly March 2016. I wonder what happened to UbiWorkShop's Nikolai? The statue teased was for the two comic series, The Fall and The Chain. These appear to be for Chronicles, and seeing as how their story lines connect somehow, I wouldn't be surprised if the bases attached (similar to the diorama option that began with Black Flag's Edward and Blackbeard).

I am from UK. The UBIshop official page for this item says in description that this is a 2-piece diorama. So if you remember Ezio's Fury statue and McFarlane Edward premium statue, how Ezio jumps from Roman pillars, and how you insert Edward's feet in sea sand, it is the same working mechanism here...Ezio's shoes are inserted into the Church wall...Hope this helps :)

It looks quite natural to me and I only started analysing the pose after reading your post.

If you imagine Ezio standing at the very edge of the ledge with the majority of his feet off the edge and just the rear portion of his feet making contact. And then him just falling forward and pushing off a little. This freeze-frame would be the moment where he's just finished the push off but hasn't yet started moving away from the wall.

Sure it's not all that game accurate, but It looks about as realistic as you'd expect from the extremely unrealistic leap of faith as a £36 statue and something I'll definitely be adding to my collection. :)
