Hi guys, since there are quite some press kit collectors here i thought a topic about them might be interesting. Since a lot of them are not posted here you might not even know they exist.

So what's the working definition of a press kit anyways?

There's a couple US only press kits that never see the light of day but they're not produced by SCEE

Hmmm think most definitions would require a game/review disc to come with the press kit and the US mostly just receives press items

For me a press kit is:
- often included asset disc and promo/review disc
- coherent packaging

Not press kit
- random promo items, tshirts etc.

Hmmm in the us they tend to run promotions more like the Dante's Inferno Vice Promotion

I guess it's just press items as games weren't included but I want a lot of that stuff more than pretty much any press kit I've ever seen

Right of course but I do feel like the ones shown above are press kits, just a different breed of press kits lol

Maybe promotion kits? As a lot of them have unique packaging and the like so are more than just random promo items in my mind
